I have always been terrified of how fast time moves, and photography became my way of slowing it down. I picked up a camera because I wanted to hold onto moments that slip through our fingers-- the way someone looks when they laugh or the exact colour of the sky on the perfect afternoon. I hope when you look at my work you see the attempt to make the temporary, permanent. These are not just images to me, but proof that this moment existed!
